Catarina

Catarina is 44 years old and was born in Luanda, Angola. She moved to England when she was 22. Now, as a grown woman, she cherishes her loving family and embraces the great responsibility she holds as a mother and wife. She has two wonderful teenage children—a daughter and a son.

Catarina specialises in working with children and young people, a passion she has nurtured since a young age. She first began working with children at Sunday school in her church. After moving to England, she seized the opportunity to further her education and complete a course in childcare and youth work.

She then began working with children in nurseries and schools, supporting them both in groups and one-on-one across different age brackets. Driven by her passion, she also volunteered at a youth group in her community, assisting young people with their needs.

Through her journey and many achievements, Catarina now envisions taking her skills to the next level by establishing her own mentoring business for children and young people in the community.

Her goal and dream are not only to inspire but also to help the younger generation take bold steps in life, just as she did—without doubt or hesitation. Catarina hopes to use her story to inspire the next generation.
